    Petcock

Hey I'm new to pocket bikes having just picked up a d2 a few days ago and I was wondering what you guys did to stop fuel coming out when taking the tank off?
Is there somewhere I can get a petcock for it to attach to the tank end of the fuel line? Or any other tips on stopping the flow... ?

Pretty sure you can get something like that from a karting shop, possibly also from a good lawnmower/chainsaw type shop too.

Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes. After that, who cares? ...He's a mile away and you've got his shoes

Caveat: I don't race and I'm not really mechanical.

You can get mini vice grips that are about 4" long. You could clamp the hose and disconnect at the carb end. You can also get haemostats at most major medical suppliers (and Jaycar electronics).

Remove the fuel tap from the carb. Just be careful not to get any crap into that little hole the fuel goes through. Put a rag over it or something.

Yep these work real good, and an essential "hold this for me" item in every tool box.

Alternatively, you can just drain the fuel back into the fuel container.
