Just had a call from the Standard - they didnt get back to me friday, but the reporter said she has already written something for todays paper.
Apparently they are going to send a photographer to the Square after 8am tomorrow.

Make sure ya bikes are all polished and looking shiny!

Well Mc D's used to be across the road until they relocated so counts them out. Might have to go on the liquid stims (V)

damn - from my office just off Rangitikei, I saw a pile of bikes go past not long ago.
Now I can hear what sounds like bikes going down Rang.

I'm feeling like a kid who can't go out and play in the snow with the other kids until I've done my homework. LOL

Yeah I heard what must have been a herd of Harley's last night going down Rangitikei on their way to Wellington perhaps. On my way home from work I only saw one Bemmer so maybe the bikers will arrive late.

yup, slight change of plans re bollard keys etc, they dont want to give me keys so council will set it up making space for bikes to get in/out but not cars, if they cock it up, just go between and meet there anyways, im aiming to be there 8ish, if you dont wanna get up too early just aim to get there at 8:25, you wont miss anything.

Are they opening up the bollards on Main street or Rang, or both?
(probably easier to funnel the bikes in groups out of the main street exit)

I'm still aiming 8ish to be there if you need help with anything.
