(probably easier to funnel the bikes in groups out of the main street exit)

I'm still aiming 8ish to be there if you need help with anything.
hopefully they are opening all of them up, specifically asked for the main st one to be opened up, so should be nice and easy to send the groups out, probly get the TECs to hold hold traffic until the main body has all got away on through the roundabout

Question on fuel stops, do we stop for fuel on our own or are there planned fuel stops? Just working out the range for my Firestorm and would need to re-fuel before Welly.

I can make welly and back to shannon on my BB 2-up, but if I run short I think I can flip open the fuel tank at 100km/hr and aim carefully..... (kill 2 birds with one stone)...

theres no mass planned fuel stop, it would overload any fuel station and cause massive delays, fill up in levin before the riders breif if you can, otherwise just stop wherever and join up with another group.

You can't get to Welly on a tank?

    I thought mine was thirsty.

I had the same question asked on Saturday just before we left on the protest ride, we were at a BP Autobahn and the ride was 130 km's. I said ''no fuel stops''.

I can get to Welly, just want to make sure I have the fuel to ride around town and enough to last me while I'm stuck in traffic trying to get home. Dam bike is thirsty even when Idling.

there are supermarket fuel pumps next to meeting point in Levin, that should get you out & a good portion back up the line if not home

thats not quite the case, the crew that have come down fr up north will meet at sanson & are due in Levin at 9.40 to join the group heading down from palmerston & other districts

there will be groups leaving the square & sanson .. however from Levin at 10am will be one huge arsed group

those doing marshalling duties from palmerston down are you free to assist with marshalling down to police college plz ?

Yes, it would be nice to have a pre-briefing briefing

Would be nice to get a google map or detailed directions for marshals. I've been through Papokowhai (sp) before but don't want to mess things up...

If someone gives me the route or routes I can make up a GPS file if anyone wants one. (Yes, I know it's a pretty easy ride but just want to make sure everything goes well).

Before we even leave I'd just like to say a big thanks to all the work done so far by all the organisers! You guys are fantastic!

First post confused me a bit as I think of Sanson being north of me.
