Parts still available ? KX500

Don't know how long parts are available for dis-continued models , I'm keen to spend some money now and accumulate some guards, side-covers and whatever I can for my '04 KX500 before they ' can't be obtained ' . Is there a generic 'Cut off point ' with distributors etc ?

just had a look at some of my suppliers still a few clutch cables,rod kits and suspension/ wheel bearing kits, master cylinder rebild kits and few other miscellaneous parts around.

Thanks Barty, Ostensibly looking for cosmetics though, the KX500 as new was delivered with a back-up kit in a box which included spare levers, piston, rings, gudgeon pin and circlips etc, full gasket kit for the bike, you name it to rebuild the Bike ...do Kawasaki still supply this for their dirt Bikes ?
