    h00ning

Today is Monday, its the sunniest day I've seen in weeks and upon arrival at work this morning I was asked if I would like the day off (seeing as how i worked 60hrs last week).

Cool and calm as always, "yes" I replied, "that would be ok I guess".

Home as efficiently as possible, a quick skite on KB about how nice a day it is and how I have it off, now I'm off for a h000000n, dunno where yet, well see where the road takes me.

    Byyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

    "Waaaah! " and all that.
I can't ride at the moment; weekends are for chores, weekdays are for transporting #2Son everywhere (he blew his car's head gasket and can't afford to fix it).
I feel like I'm not alive anymore, just a zombie...
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

Wore my leathers for the first time in 2 months today to come to work.

Jeez they shrink when you don't wear them for a while.

Took me a good ten kilometres before I felt remotely comfy.

    Beautiful day for riding but.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

My commute from home to work today (direct route = 7km) stretched to 184km...nuff said.

Yeah, I've seen more motorbikes today on my runs than I usually see in a week.

    Good stuff.

What Auckland are you in? I've spent the day rocking around the city from errand to errand basking in the beeeeautiful blue sky and warm sun.

What a day, I decided to head to hastings to see my sister. I know the road in between is a little drab, so I started off with a bit of a bang.. Paihiatua track, ballance rd, back through the gorge, then over the saddle and on to hastings.

Went and had a big ol yarn with my sis, one of her friends has organised a cocktail party for the "nz dating" community, lol I've been roped in, apparently her friends think I'm a bit of alright, labor weekend should be something else...

Got all the bike gear off and picked up my little nephew from school and gave him a shoulder ride home (walking..) only to be stopped by my sisters cougar neighbour saying how nice it was that I was good with kids, woman in hastings are alright me thinks

Then back on the vif for the burn home. Not real trail blazing stuff but a few hundred k's in good weather, awesome, I wish alk mondays were like this...
