Nope, he took off. I only just missed him apparently. Just imagine the fun I could of had if I'd walked out of the shop to find him pinned under the bike.

It was parked outside a cafe in Petone so two women told me what happened. I actually got a reasonable description of him but I haven't had any luck finding him.

    Damn Gravel

What the hell is the world coming to when a man can't leave his scoot outside without some ignorant prick f***ing around with it?
Imagine HIS face if you went to his home and played around with his stereo/playstation or whatever just because it took your fancy!!
What kind of sorry-arsed cheese-dick mother-f***er just climbs on a parked motorbike without asking permission? - I'd move to a better class of town

I've heard that anyone reversing their vehicle is 100% at fault. I had a woman reverse into my bike, pushing it off the sidestand, then pulled out of her carpark & left the scene. Luckily 2 different witnesses took rego details & one of them notified the police. She wasn't too impressed when the bill came in at approx $1500!

Sycophant - glad you emerged relatively unscathed & were able to ride your bike home at least.

Have you guys sat there & watched this guy through his full cycle?!?!? He actually stops & takes a few deep breaths before starting his rant again.

Damaging your pride and joy through a stupid mid corner lapse of concentration
FWIW, I wasn't lacking in concentration at all, I just misread the corner. Didn't have my helmet-radio-of-doom on or anything...

    But yeah.

Personally, I think I might have been more pissed at the knock-over, because it would be totally out of my control. Of course there is the relief that there's no way I could be hurt in that circumstance.

Sympathies to all of you poor bastards.

Hey, look on the bright side - you may have scratches, but I had to ride in this morning without anything to rest my right foot on

It must *really* hurt when someone scratches up your MV. I don't know if I'd have the balls to commute on one... I'd break down in tears if it got scratched or dropped

And what the hell is it with someone walking up to a parked bike and having a sit on it? I'd go f$*%ing ballistic if someone tried that on and I caught them - I'd assume they were trying to nick it. Not that the FXR is at the top of the list of desirable scoots, but you get my drift... matter of principle.

Funnily enough someone did once ask to have a sit on the FXR when I was parking it up... he quite liked it

I think it's time to set up a possy. No one should get away with that and driving without a licence they should be arrested damaging the mighty mv a definite hanging in my books. So sorry BB i guess the ducati is gonna have to come out of retirement

The phone is a Nokia 3650. It's big, and somewhat ugly, but it has a good camera, and I got it on special, so I like it

sorry to hear about the spill Sycophant and the knock to your bike BB
I know all about lapses of concentration mid corner, although its hard when the corner suddenly sharpens on you.

PS Sycophant, I may have some size S Spool pants going cheap. saved my knees from any damage. will fit if you're a short arse like me. slightly split crutch from tank impact

I don't know which insurance company you use Bikerboy but generally if you are hit by an uninsured driver and you do get their details like you did in this case and it is clearly their fault then you shouldn't have to pay excess or lose you no claim bonus, so hopefully it should cost you nothing.

For Syc and MatthewT the picture is a bit gloomier because you will be stung a bit when making a claim if you haven't done that already.

For a guy with a homepage of www.gaymen.com, this guy really loves 'cunts'.

    A little mixed up?

    taking the piss?

A previously burned member out for revenge?
