    After chatting with one of the track owners, they've put a very hard surface down which will tolerate bikes after only a short wait, but I dont think cars will be on it for a little while...

    Does that include the oily parts of the bitumen being leached out? Isn't new seal slippery in damp conditions because of that?

    That's probably going to still happen. Needs some hot days and some heavy rain to clean it up.
