That glazed look...

Nah - not in the car driver's eyes - rather on the road.

It is only mid spring and we have yet to top 25C here on any one day. But already I am seeing the glazed look appear once more on the roads (aka tar bleed). I'm surprised just how quickly some of my favourite roads have lost their chip seal surfaces into an ocean of soft bitumen, leaving lovely slick slippery surfaces for me to arse off on in the spring rains.

Just another hazard to help raise our ACC levies...

Darn, and here was me thinking you were talking about doughnuts (glazed of course), or my eyes when I see Black forest cake, or Pussy's eyes when he sees banana cake, or Katman's eyes when he has polished off a bottle or several of his favourite drink (not telling what it is).

Yep, those road glazings are definitely not the type I enjoy seeing and are one of the many reasons I ride like a nana.
