Good spots in the North Island for an overnighter

If you want good accommodation on the east coast, try the motel at Lottin Point. Right on the coast down a gravel driveway off the main road.

Good bar, bike friendly and they put on an awesome feed (think roast, crayfish, etc, hmmm...crayfish ).

You'd be pretty brave, or just silly, to camp at Kero Creek. Just never know who's going to come down the no-exit rd.

Te Aroha has lovely hot pools and camping - just off the Coro Loop really.
