I'm not trying to say anything nasty but ummm u only have to sit back a lil and drop the clutch hard then you should be gettin at least a few cms off the ground?!?! I've had the front lifting on my ZZR coming outta a corner in 2nd........and i'm still slow as!!

each to thier own but I'd like to learn how to make my bike perform to its limits before i upgrade....
ive had that problem, nailing it down the paraparas, some of the corners have a bit of a rise at the end (if you get what i mean, like the corner around and up, not flat) and going fast enough around the corner i get the front up regually in 2nd and 3rd gear. but then after the track day i had 10 times more confidence and now im going faster then i ever have and my zzr still has more to offer. ive started going around corners at about double their noted speed (duno if thats fast but it feels it) and more sometimes, like i stretched it to about 100 around a 45 today, hanging on for dear life, sitting on my thigh, knee right out, toe up on peg etc...great fun.

and to be honest im getting bored with my bike in some ways like on straights. i want a cbr or zxr or sumthing soon. but my bike still has so much potential on the corners, i have heaps to learn and my bike can still go faster, i scare my self frequently when riding and i still havnt mastered the power of my bike, im still amature pretending to be pro...LOL

as for wheelies, i can get the front up ok. i did my best one today, got it up and stayed ther for like a second or 2 at most. doesnt sound like much, but it felt good. no stoppies yet, and not for a while.

my next step is to get some leathers and try getting my knee down, and when i can do that ok, then ill look at another bike i think.

well if that made any sence i will be shocked. i tend to ramble a bit and repeat myself, but its all ther some where.

Just wondering does the CBR400 engine just slot into the 250, I'm trying to get a cheaper 400cc for my bike (zxr400h2 engine) aparently just slots into the ZXR250c frame.

Pass. Next question. Think with a little effort 600 motors can be squeezed into a 400. Sounds like you may need to look at the brakes first??

Looks like we're going to have to have a ZZR250 race.... we all sound like nutters

oh and as Paul in NZ pointed out to me last weekend: "there's NO point getting caught speeding in a straight line!"

I like to go with the- Red and white speed signs are LAW you obey them...... yellow and black signs are WARNING they can be doubled!........ white with a black stripe = fun!!

    Yup looks like it

A mate of mine here owns a 93 model - identical bike. I'll be getting a new screen and I need to find a mudguard.

Then my bike be as cosmetically mint as it is mechanically mint. Hehehe

I'm off to work on those corner speeds.

Need to buy some warm gloves though

The theme for this project is NO!!

No to modifying, no to destroying and no to squeezing larger motor into small bike!!
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods

Look at that, you went and got Stevo all hot and excited, now you've gone and disappointed him.

Think of it as "experimental purposes" or ask him to try it on one of his bikes first.

Provided I can get a ride back. Otherwise I'll be home for the weekend.
