some of us like the way we live, agree with the imposed speed limits as they are there to keep everyone safe and try to help people out where needed.

i had a chat to the local copper again over the weekend. he suggested i write in to the north shore super intendant requesting peak rd to be patrolled by the highway patrol cars. it seems like a good idea to me!
Your powers of observation are as stupid as your "suggestions" there special jimmy, but imagine what you like, whatever floats your boat.
But pleased to see you have taken such a keen interest in me, just keep your sexual fantasies to yourself eh.

Just incase your speaking to the cops is not a piss take, here is something that should be right up your alley.

You still ride/drive at a speed appropriate to the circumstances and conditions.
    50 kmh, ha
The only local area that had a 50 kmh zone put on it was Waitoki and it is much more densely populated than Peak Rd.
    What a load.
Jimmy Shitz will be like the locals in Mangawhai - they complained to the local cop to do something about the hoons. And then whine when it turns out that they are the ones getting ticketed.

This thread is a waste of time.

One dork being a prat and winding up alot of people. The mods should "can it"

Special jimmy must be a cop himself, but cops aren't dorks like him so he cant be.

Why dont you get a motorbike and ride it.
    Or just piss off

That's not really his scene, but if that's what you need to visualise to whack one off before you go to bed I feel sorry for you.

Was he a Ginga by any chance? FWIW, there are already enough cops on SH16 when they need to be there. If the cops aren't already there on their own accord then obviously there haven't been any serious events which have required their constant attention. The ATNR gets targeted every now and again - but by using simple psychology the cops don't actually have to be there EVERY Thursday in order for people to slow down and take it easy.

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

i was told by said copper that the highway patrol guys are employed to police the SH. so SH16 is where they spend most of their time, they do deviate but they are not meant to set up on the side roads. he was suggesting that i write in to get them more time on the side roads.

Woopdeedoo so when/if they change the limit then people will slow down accordingly. But right now obviously the limits are fine. If speeders are speeding dangerously then they will get caught out one way or another. What makes you the God to come onto this site and assume that we're all the ones speeding dangerously and needing advice from you?

Speeders will speed everywhere, how do you think people feeling when boy racers are racing through their 50kph street with their kids playing on the grass verge?

You may not be as special as you think you are, special jimmy.

If the speed limit is 100kph then I'm legally allowed to go around that corner at 100kph, unless you're above the law because you suck some copper's dick why should you be the one telling me to slow down?

I always find it hilarious when people get all incensed at someone for suggesting a degree of restraint be exercised.

Is it a sign of a guilty conscience?

No...not a sign of a guilty conscience, just a sign of indifference to the well being of their fellow human beings.

Wait, Im getting a sense of deja vu...havent we talked about riders considering the consequences of their actions previously. I hope more motorcyclists jump in here, as the indifferent nature being shown here is the reason why the gubbermint wants to tax us even more.

They already think we are freaking hoons, seems like a few of you are proving them correct.

Oh, noel is pretty ordinary in real life...you wouldnt pick him out of a crowd or anything. Seemed quite nice when I met him a while back, he teaches at the ride right ride safe course. Has some good mechanical know how behind him and, If I remember correctly was riding an xt660x...or maybe I'm thinking of someone else.

I think he is just pissed that you were going after the atnr. I think the message has shifted now though to being a responsible rider. Which I'm pretty sure he is pissed about too.

I dont hold this interweb thing against people. Messages and emotions get skewed over a keyboard.
