Can someone post a map (google will do) showing the section(s) of road in this debate? I would like to ride it some time soon and of course I won't be speeding
    Here for the ride.

sure. of course you (and i) are entitled to an opinion.
and yes of course you can ride how you like.

i can't believe that someone that runs courses on how to ride seems so intent on rubbishing someone that is talking about keeping below the speed limit.

surely you don't teach people to go what ever speed they like with complete disregard of imposed speed limits?

Maybe we can't believe that someone who is a complete stranger seems so intent on making rubbish accusations about other strangers about not keeping below the speed limit.

There is a law telling people not to speed, I don't think your voice is louder than that

Much as I just love character assassinations what does this have to do with the original thread of asking riders to slow down within a specfic area.
I would not have thought it required a 12 page response.
    I follow the 50/50/90 rule.
Anytime I have a 50/50 chance of getting it right there is a 90% probability I will get it wrong

We're discussing the request for riders to slow down within a specific area.... Very on topic I would've thought!

How does your post relate to the original topic?

    What do you think? Jimmy
    The point is
You assumed it was a kiwibiker
You assumed it was the ATNR
    Not everyone is on kiwibiker
So i would presume you have been on every bikers website to inform them all about their speed and that they should slow down right........ Yeah right
Thats my problem with you right there.

I see the thread has been moved to Rant or Rave...sort of speaks for itself really.

where opinion holds more weight than fact.

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

sad how screwed some people are. i will write into the northshore police and i hope they really patrol the rd. Catching as many people breaking the law as possible.
unfortunately even that i don't think will change your outlook, you will just hate the coppers for doing their job.

Dunno how you conclude people in this thread have that outlook, you're really good at the whole assumption thing

I hope they catch people breaking the law too and the majority of cops do a great job.

No point having a group ride guide if no one has the common sense to use it.
Thank you, my point exactly throughout the entire thread.
Motorcyclists DO need to think about what they are doing. Not you and not special jimmy telling them what to do. That is not thinking, that is someone thinking for them and from the looks of this thread you and jimmy the rat thinking for them is down right dangerous.

Again, spot on. You can't impart common sense into someone, and we can all be very thankful of that one because I sure as fuck don't want what you and jimmy the rat think passes for common sense.
If you don't use it you lose it, people should exercise common sense and thus develop it. This is not achieved by some sanctimonious cock telling them what to do.
