Now that's just dangerous and could cause a safety issue for others

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

It doesnt pull up in top. 3rd is the highest gear an DRZ400SM can lift the front wheel, and that takes a significant pull

I'm sure Redneck Jimmy has plenty of pulling power.

I can't believe this thread is still going. Jimmy "whatever your handle is" and I have read a few now, my advice to you is to quit while you are taking a hammering for posting such ridiculous crap on here.

Incase you have missed it the more you post shit, the more you are going to take heat. Trolling is one thing, it can be done very sucessfully if you try hard. You started off with a post that was always going to be jumped on, and have continued to dig your pit deeper and deeper each time your fingers contact your keyboard.

Geared down - so top speed is what 120kph? possibly showing faster on the speedo.
Significant mods - so now it's pulling a whole 35hp at the rear wheel?

As I was saying, no it doesn't count.

I think the "ridiculous crap" lies more within the postings of those who seem determined to ridicule a thread attempting to achieve a degree of responsibility.

The ones that seem determined to keep this thread going are the ones who seem to be fighting hardest against that idea.

Honestly can you not see this for what it is. A total wind up of the OP. He makes a valid point, but the way he delivered that message has made him a target of some of the finest at the game.

He was having a bleat, couched in a "we should ride responsibly" kind of way and got slammed. Do you honestly think that the protaginists in this thread ride like lunatics? They may ride fast, they may have demerits, they may or may not represent the perfect motorcycle rider. They are playing with him pure and simple.

Come on Anne - you seem to be forgetting who you're talking to.

I know all about being slammed for trying to get across a 'responsible riding' message (as well as being slammed for my 'method of delivery').

Trust me on this I am not.

I doubt there are many on here that would actually disagree with the ride safely and responsibly message. Sure, there will always be the idiots that defy common sense, and they do need a kick up the backside, but...

This guy is being played with, he posts he is reporting stuff to the cops, bangs on that every rider that goes past his place is an irresponsible, speeding, nightmare biker, who by default must also be members of this forum, he takes what he gets. This thread is now lost in the bullshit as so many of your threads also have done.

Meh, I rode down Peak Road not so long ago. It may or may not have also have been on a Thursday night. I dont as a rule zoom through residential areas, I tend to be respectful of speed limits there.

This thread no longer serves any purpose, it is simply a game to the player now. Should be closed.
