Statistics show that when they introduced an open road speed limit in the Northern Territory (where you could previously do any speed you wished on the outback roads) that the death toll increased.

The road toll is caused due to bad driving and bad decisions, not due to speeding.

again your showing your immaturity. this topic is about getting people to slow down.

you threatened to now go even faster, since someone was asking the masses to show good judgement and slow to a suitable (legal) speed in a couple of area's that are dangerous at high speed.

so a couple of us are now questioning if you are infact sound in the head enough to get on a bike? (it's ok, i don't even need a reply to that last bit as i already have made up my mind)

What someone says on the internet, and what they do in real life are almost always two completely different things.

Who's irrational? You took the word of a cop who described the ATNR as the 'kiwibiker high speed run' as being gospel.

Social responsibility falls on the people who make up society, with the free will to act as they choose to do so. I'm guessing you were keen on Uncle Helen telling you that you couldn't have a fancy shower head because it used too much water? Or perhaps you drive a Prius because that is what the government told you was 'socially responsible'.

Suggesting a Frontal Lobotomy is socially irresponsible... what gives you the right to take away someones ability to lead a 'normal' life simply because they don't agree with your single track way of thinking. THAT is the exact reason that frontal lobotomies have been outlawed. Do you have any idea how many 'normal' kids were given sedated and completely screwed up lives simply because they didn't fit with the 'norm' of how a child should act.

Stick a screwdriver up behind your eye and wriggle it around, i'm sure that people speeding past a kindy at 7:30pm will be the least of your worries. Don't forget to wipe your ass.

Ah now you've gorn and dune it aye Stranger! The katman is in da house.
Special Jimmy, for crying out aloud, no single group or KB Social group has exclusive rights to any particular section of road, anywhere.
I ride with many KB members under several different Social group banners, I've ridden Peak road with everyone of those groups.
I'm sure that there are many other riders out there who have absolutely nothing to do with KB who also regularly ride Peak Road.
You have been told repeatedly by those who have replied to your original post that in particular the ATNR guys and girls obey the speed limits in that area.
You've managed to get off side with all but one of the people replying to you.
An arguement is no longer an arguement when one side or the other resorts to personal insult and slaging off.
Last night I attended the BRONZ meeting, over 200 motorcyclists attended that meeting, I saw no evidence of moronic behaviour before, during or after that meeting.Your blanket assumption that all KB'ers (in particular) are besotted with speed and danger is totally wrong.
Frosty invited you to go watch the road between the hours of 6.45 and 8.45 or thereabouts, on a Thursday night, I hope you did tonight!
Your apology to the ATNR will be interesting to say the least.
I look forward to seeing it soon.
Every day above ground is a good day!:

i watch the ride every thursday night.

if you go back through it all you will see that i did not slag off the ride group. i asked if people would please slow down. i have seen the thursday rides, almost every thursday for a long time.
the police officer mentioned kiwibiker, as i stated.
stranger was the first to fling shit, where i was trying to get the point across for people to SLOW DOWN>

for fuck sake, actually why don't all of you that speed down the road continue, i just hope it's not me or my missus you hit. and when you loose your license i hope a thread dosn't pop up on here about the arsehole of a cop that took it from you.
