How the hell else would mindless drones know what is safe if the government didn't tell you?
Common sense tells me to take some corners at lower speeds than the limit .

Isn't the majority of the coastal road under an "open road" or whatever it's called sign i.e. not 100kph as such. Meaning sure the limit is 100kph but not at all the recommended and one should drive to each corner.

They can't change the legal speed limit for every different corner and straight!!! That's why it's an open road sign!

The limit varies are you go through the various bays and little towns, ranges from 100km/hr to 50 km/hr.

Oh hang on is it outside Jimmys house maybe they need to so Jimmy can slow down "on a motorbike" and do exactly the speed recommended by the sign.
This thread is a fucken joke.
Anyone would have thought that the only people who go past his place was ATNR people or Kiwibikers from this site.
Such a oversite and false accusations really shows what a tosser Jimmy 2006 is.

    You can think for yourself?
So you don't need special jimmy to tell you how to ride then?

Know what, I don't either, neither does anyone else for that matter, and here's a surprise, we don't need some jumped up noob telling us how to ride either.

So you 2 sanctimonious pricks can take your "helpful friendly advice" and shove it where the sun don't shine.

You got the last part right, other than that no.
It wasn't a suggestion. You put a suggestion then leave it at that. If it takes 5 pages it's no longer a suggestion, it's trying to exert pressure to conform.
You also made unfounded accusations. These are not suggestions either.

As I know you appreciate suggestions, I've got one for you.
Stop posting your "suggestions" because no one wants them, if they do, they can ask.

you must really hate society.... i am putting no pressure on you to conform. Your whole argument in multiple threads i have looked at is not wanting to conform. i guess you are some retard, wearing a death metal t shirt, sitting in a dark room and hating the world.

some of us like the way we live, agree with the imposed speed limits as they are there to keep everyone safe and try to help people out where needed.

i had a chat to the local copper again over the weekend. he suggested i write in to the north shore super intendant requesting peak rd to be patrolled by the highway patrol cars. it seems like a good idea to me!

Peak Road is patrolled on a fairly regular basis . I have seen speed cameras, Two people I know of have been stopped on the hill coming down to the church , one ended up walking , one did no. Saw another rider pinged on the long uphill stretch after the golf course. Have not seen the cops set up opposite the end of Peak Rd for a while, they used to catch the guys gassing it down the hill.
Have seen the results of two motorcyle accidents 1 x moderately bad , 1 not so bad, also seen a few pretty second hand cars in the ditch at various points
This has been over a period of 5 years riding that road most Sundays.
There has been the occasional absolute clown on a motorbike but most are not too bad imho.
