    Riding fluey

    I'm riding Akld-Whanga in a few hours. YAY looking forward to the road especially on this mean day. Except i'm still a baby rider and have the worst head cold ever. Riding + snotty as fuck + sneezy + coughy = bad news?

    Yeah, it sucks a bit. Your visor will steam up heaps if you've got an elevated temperature and if you sneeze it's icky.

    Take some ibruprofen - it will clear up your symptoms, and drink LOTS of water.

    I sneeze all the time in my helmet! Can't help it really. Don't think i've ever had a very snotty sneeze though and the breath guard helps!

    Rub a skerrick of Vaporub or similar into the mouthpiece of your lid/buff/scarf. Helps keep the old sneck clear.

    oooooooooh it was such a good ride!! except the bus and massive line of cars on the best twisty bit. they really fucked with my shit.

    had to stop and have a clear out but apart from that
