I've found out that Interislander have group rates available; details are...

$38.00 per Person one way

$35.00 per Motorcycle one way

$23.00 per Child one way

$120.00 per Car/Ute/4x4/Van up to 5.5m one way

All passengers must provide tie-downs for Motorcycles

Discount available for travel between 12th November 2009 to 22nd November 2009

Must be booked via groups@interislander.co.nz or 0800 878 898 and quote FA5402

Space is subject to availability at the time of the booking request

I have just made my booking on the InterIslander. Be aware that they have made a small muckup with the booking code, and doubled it up with a bio security conference. When you book make sure that you tell them its for the ACC protest ride otherwise the dates for the discount wont match.

I had a call from Interislander today to say that the 2:25 pm crossing has been cancelled. It looks like the best option now is 1:10 pm.

The girl who called stated that there are a large number of bikes affected by the change.
