WAIKATO MOTORCYCLISTS HEAD TO WELLINGTON
Nationwide, Motorcyclists are joining forces in large numbers to show voice to parliament about the inequitable proposed changes to ACC levies.
On Wednesday BRONZ Waikato coordinator Paul Willard joined the Auckland branch in a public meeting to discuss the ACC levies proposal. Resolutions for large-scale protest rides to Wellington, as well as protest rides in regional centres, were unanimously approved.
The regional Hamilton Ulysses Motorcycle club will be holding a gathering open to all Motorcyclists and interested parties on October 31st. The venue is yet to be confirmed; Ulysses regional coordinator has told Mr Willard “Our intention is to raise awareness, and deliver information, we certainly don’t want to upset local business owners, or the public”. For further information please contact one of the Hamilton Motorcycle shops. Mr Willard said today “The Ulysses Motorcycle club is very experienced at organising large scale motorcycle events; BRONZ wishes to extend their thanks for the invitation, and the organisation of this event”.
BRONZ Waikato are inviting all Motorcyclists to join forces and meet at parliament at 12 noon on November 17th to let the collective voices of all Motorcyclists in New Zealand be heard.
