I have nothing against cyclists being on the road, (even though McJim thinks I do) and I have nothing against them being 2 a breast if the conditions are right...

I have seen them 3 or 4 a breast taking up a whole lane with a flow of on coming traffic... making it very difficult and dangerous for all parties... if they are two a breast and the conditions are good for them to do so... I have no issue...

But 4 abreast and not moving over taking the whole lane not allowing traffic behind you to pass becasue they don't move over or even go to 2 abreast or single file to allow the backed up traffic to pass... well thats another story

Just like motorcyclists need to respected other vehicles (All including cyclists) on the road, so do cyclists themselves... We all use it together so we need a little bit of respect for each other. Just like motorcyclists there is a minority that gives them all a bad name

WTF? These guys chose to ride 3-4 wide (taking up a whole lane) with vehicles behind them clad only in lycra moving maybe 20kph in an 80kph area and on blind corners (when we came across them).

It is not a matter of rules - I would have thought it comes down to common sense - clearly some of them don't give that too much thought and it would seem neither do you when you feel it necessary to reply to a post.

I might just have to bling ya Mr flash... example: Motorbike riding over bridge smacks into car going slower...(it happened)... guy on bike broke his leg... whose fault is it... relevant to cyclists who actually go a lot slower... same as blind bend, having rode a bike I would never ride 2 abreast unless it was a straight (dead straight) even surfaced road.

Maybe we need cycle lanes after all.. which are paid for buy the cyclists... you ride a bike on a public road (theory) of at speed (not a child), then you pay something... its such a hard world we live in... maybe courtesy is the strength of the argument not who is right or wrong.

I really am not sure why we cover so many other people on our registration costs....................

I dislike the following from now:
- Cyclist on the road
- Divers who swim with sharks
- Bungie Jumpers
- Body Builders
- Triathetes
- Rugby Players
- Netball Players
- People who cant handle knives properly
- Unskilled riders/drivers
- Cricket players......

Because thanks to you wankers I am looking at paying more for ACC. I do not perform these tasks personally - but thanks to you not paying for them, I have to pick up the slack.
