    Waihi Funday

    Hi all
    Heres the deal
We have the opportunity to run a fun day on the Waihi netball courts. This is a tarmac area that consists of three courts end to end. It is big enough to make a small track round the size of an indoor track. So I would suggest short gearing on ya bikes. The day will be run like any other NZMMRC event with all rules enforced ie saftey gear and nylon. Classes will be decided on the day depending on who shows up.
Where: Waihi Netball courts. which is on Kenny street St Highway 25 heading for Whangamata. Easy to find
    When: Sunday 18/10/09
Cost: $$ at this stage nothing but will also confirm this and edit it in
    Time: From 9am-5pm

I will update as I get a bit more info so please keep an eye on this post if your keen.

    Cheers
    Gadgit

Good stuff Gadgit, just a pity it is the same weekend as Mt Wellington, but I suppose you had to go with what's available.

Nah, got a good half day in at Mt Welly today.

What's wrong with the B1 Mohawk? They are usually pretty reliable.

Thanks Kelsey for today. This is the most fun I have had on pocket bike for a while as the track was small and tight and gearing the bike down made it very different to ride today.

I must agree Dan and thanks to John Adrienne and yourself for coming over and helping out setting up and running. Once the track dryed it was mint but even with a bit of water on it there was plenty of traction. Geared down daytonas are alot of fun and I was surprized how the 8Hp GP3 handled the tight track. Can't wait to do it again.
