    Politics & Pizza Tonight

To all of you from the Hunua Electorate.

Dont forget about the Politics & Pizza night with our MP and "special" guest Paula Bennett at 5.30pm.

The details are on the calendar and it would be good to see heaps of us attending. This is a great opportunity to ask our MP the questions we want. Let me know any questions you want asked if you are unable to attend. I will do my best.

Here's a question for Bennet. In wake of Rodney losing his credibility as a perk buster who is going to perform his other function of 'benefit bashing.'

Well, that was a bit underwhelming.

About six bikes, riders outnumbered 10 to 1.

We're going to have to do better than that if we are to strike fear and trepidation into the hearts of the ACCursed .

It was doomed before we arrived - Hutchison had a guest speaker and an agenda which had been planned weeks ago. We knew that was the case, and that the ACC issue wouldn't be given a spotlight.

Still, the only thing worse than an underwhelming response would have been no response at all. Glad I went.

Even listening to Paula Bennett wasn't as bad as I expected, although I still believe that her greatest asset is the fact that she's not Sue Bradford . . . .

Well, had we had the numbers we could have rewritten his agenda for him, and put ACC into the spotlight.

But we'd have needed 100 bikes not 6.

Still, it's a good learning for the next one.

That is disappointing Les after all the noise made here and thousands of words casting ACC into the inner levels of Hell. Politicians are moved by public noise - the more people the better.

Well done to those who turned up and lets encourage more support for next time.
