Nice vids Mark, Thompson's looks like fun, bit like Odlins or the Pram Track down near Welly!

Cheers, Dave
I'm finding mine a lot easier and nicer to ride - easier by a huge margin at slow speeds, and nicer in that the roll on power on the highway is better. I've just filled up and zeroed the trip meter and we head off tomorrow on our big trip to Auckland and back so I'll soon find out what the 16T has done to the fuel consumption - we'll be two up and fully loaded so that won't help.
So if anyone sees an orange 990 adv cruising two up heading to Auckland (ferry crossing on Tues night) then say high if you have a chance

I like my licence so I'm a bit nanaish but probably more relevant is that the 950 has the fuel pump outside the tanks (down near the battery) and the 990 has the fuel pump in one of the fuel tanks. The fuel tanks are the same on the outside but quite different on the inside.
Cheers R
