That's quite possibly an effective gravel hill climb weapon. The shorter & stiffer suspension, and reduced wind resistance, MAY be an advantage over the longer-legged 990 Adventure.
    Cheers,

    Thumbs up You Know your a 9XX owner when . . .

    You Know your a 9XX owner when . . .

You pin the throttle and the front wheel doesnt come up, the rear wheel goes down.

you know you're a 950 owner when, you change rear tires more often than the oil.

...you are riding on a dirt frontage road and are passing motorcycles riding on the interstate.

...your only worry on a teeth-rattling, sweaty, rocky, slippery and rutted off-camber trail is whether the temp gauge will stay below 7 bars.

You have small giggle to yourself each time you ride your bike.

You hear the words "How did you get that big thing in here?"

You're the only rider in town to upgrade your bike to a more restrictive 2 into 1 exhaust.

You add bar risers so you can ride your streetbike standing up more comfortably.

Yes, things aren't cheap.....I know the Suzuki levers fit, I bought one for the 640, cost $16....KTM lever $48, so I could trash three before buying the KTM one....You might wanna have a look at that and get a couple.
