okies thanks for all your comments guys...i better put this thread back to what it was intended for.....i might get in trouble...

so a question for 990/950 owners..

the fuel tanks. do they balance them selves as the fuel gets lower.

was just wondering as today i seamed to use more on the left hand tank and right side fuel level stayed higher..
yes both fuel taps where on...

i did make a mistake of over fulling the tanks..and bike leaked fuel this morn in the sun..left a nice puddle of fuel on my drive way, which has eaten through my asphalt....my wifes not happy

so best not do that again.

Got to watch the over filling thingee Joe. Done it a couple of times my self.If stopping for a break and fuel i always try to have the break first then fuel then ride. As to the twin tanks i do not know the official answer, but it does look as though they even out themselves.

Yeah, they do even themselves out. Share common fuel lines before fuel pump. But if you fill to the top on both sides and leave on side stand the upper tank fills the lower.

    If you didn't get....

The Genuine KTM ball point pen mate I would take her back......

Those pens cost a fortune......I paid over $22000 for that pen and it didn't work....
