    Would be keen to know the answer to this my self.

    I would be keen to come along, would be leaving from ACC Manukau. Would there be others meeting there? (It is in Plunket Ave Manukau) Or, would someplace more accessable (and less south) be more suitable?

    Ixion, what suburb is 107 Great Sth?

    Coming from Manukau to Auckland City leaving at 4.30 and hoping to get to Sale Street by 5.00? I don't know the travel times for that time of day. Is that realistic?

    I've done the out west ride in peak traffic and unless you're lane splitting you'll be at a crawl.

    My two thoughts are either;

    a/ moving the final destination as Ixion suggested. I'm just thinking of a whole bunch of bikes trying to crawl along out west.

    or

    b/ making it a lunch time ride. If you invite cameras. You'll make the news in time with good footage of the final protest. Even if it is out at the electorate office in Kumeu. (And if it's fine you're not far from Old North Road and a short excursion North).

    Personally I like plan b/ for rider safety and media coverage. The ride out west in peak traffic will be bloody slow with a lot of start stopping going on. Does having a bunch of bikes crawling along in congested peak west traffic make a bigger statement?

    From Sale Street where will you access the motorway for West, Pitt Street, Hobson Street, Wellesley Street (from Mayoral Drive)?

    At each ACC Centre could we plaster large posters on the window of our concerns? They'll have no problems removing them as long as they're on glass. Unless you have self stick you'd need some wall paper glue I guess.

    Imagine if instead of bikes, we were all in cages! Say perhaps the impact that pricing motorcycles out of the reach of heaps of people would have.

    Nov 10th ride (Auckland)??

    In the Sunday News (my father in law's copy - I don't read that chav muck) there was a note about a ride from Auckland to John Key's Kumeu office on the 10th.

    Any details about that?

    I notice from his profile that THundy last logged in on 27 October so I doubt he will be reading this thread. I would suggest you go to the starting point if you are keen (see first post in this thread) and see what happens from there.
