Well that's a disappointment for you. Our group of 10 left the ACC Henderson office and rode at 30-35kph along Lincoln Rd to the motorway. We rode to the Te Atatu Road off-ramp and parked the bikes up on the footpath on the bridge and eagerly waited for the mass of bikes to come by from the city, south and north. We saw the city dozen ride by and we got back on the motorway.....and 'escorted' the two lanes of traffic at 40-45kph through to West Gate and then through to Kumeu at 50-55kph. The long stream of traffic passing John Key's electoral office were supportive, considering they had a slower than normal drive home. Well done to the 25 bikers in total that did turn up for this protest and shame on those that did not.

last minute trip to Napier, other wise I would have been a solo artist coming from Manukau.

    Good job those that went.

Was at ACC Yesterday at Albany - 1 bike turned up. They were expecting tons.

They were pissing themselves laughing at the 'protest' and commenting that it just shows bikers dont give a shit.

Don't think it shows bikers don't give a shit, but it does show a couple of other things......

    1. Bikers are like everyone else, don't just sit around with our fingers in our arses waiting for something to moan about
    2. They are reading our site
    3. We raised a pimple on their collective arses (they were there to look)

Was the same last week when we showed up at John's place, all 13 of us, the woman hit the panic button cause she expected heaps more too.

Besides being out of town, I wasn't sure the protest was still on, as I'm sure was the case for many people, but, given I work next to ACC in Manukau, I would have saddled up given some company.

ACC probably send out emails warning staff of impending protest action, where and when.
