Lack of skills, or death wish?

Its kinda hard to say which :(

Stuck in the cage with the family I saw some piss poor riding on the Arthur's Pass Rd this weekend :(

Sorry But it has to be said. Some guys out there are just plain dangerous - and not just to themselves...

Bike riders/Car drivers, All the same.

People generally suck, Myself included of course.

Though......Elitist cock-stocking motorcyclists are probably the worst of the lot.

    Them....and.....Bus drivers.

I was witness to some pretty shit riding yesterday, Though I have no idea how my own riding looks to others so I try not to be judgmental . Though I could have sworn no one in the group I saw looked comfortable on their bikes.

Just a word, When your passing, Let her rip, Get yourself through the maneuver and out of harms way as quickly as possible.

And if your behind other riders, Either go with them,or stay behind and pick a better place to pass, Doing a half pass is bullshit, Your now a massive fuckin hazard, Stuck out in danger land moving far to slowly.

And pass at the start of the passing lane, Dont sit out in it matching pace until right at the end when everyone gets squeezed up, WTF is that about, Your on bikes FFS, if shit goes badly then you get fucked up.

Saw some very, very, very concerning riding in the weekend.

For your guys sake, I hope they don't show up for the ACC Protest Ride. I can guarantee that the government is hoping they do.

    Easily the worst

Certainly seems that some motorcyclists who were over the coast this weekend have made a really great fist of endearing motorbikes to the ordinary public. Talking at work this morning to a couple of guys who had been over the coast for the weekend, gave me a hardtime about the ACC levy followed by remarks about some of the stupid/silly/dangerous actions by the motorcyclists they saw. Well thanks for that its done wonders for our PR image just when we needed it - NOT.

Always get a few hoons on two wheels or four. Mostly though it was a great weekend - friendly people, sensible riding, and best of all lots of bikes around Greymouth. The worst crime was committed by the useless damn weather forecasters Put a lot off coming over here with their rain forecast - when actually the weather was great. The races were well run and it was a damn good day out. Thanks for coming over to those that made the trip here. Can't wait for next years street races.

It's the nature of the beast, you will always get people who ride too fast, push too hard, and wind up looking like cocks or dead, especially when there is a group.

    It's an ego thing.

You can tell them about the tortoise and the hare, about riding smoothly, about pace riding all you like, and the next day, they'll still go like a bat out of hell.

Some grow out of it. Some don't.

Same goes for cars, just the proportion of cocks is smaller in the car world than it is in the bike world.
