hahaha uh oh, i guess and yeah i should.

But i swear EVERYBODY says how easy it is... and i have had it since monday this week i think, and JUST CANT get used to it, going in straight line and stuf fyes, but as soon as i run a little quick up to a corner i smack it DOWN and shift up... but on the VFR i can hear when it shifts up (less noise) and down, more clonk.. and go, hey that doesnt sound rii... DOH and so i keep the clutch in and flick it up twice... by which time ive nearly run off the corner :$ ... actually happened quite bad today hooning away from my mates work... seriously.. nasty... and my back brake dont work coz disc is full and coverd in scott oiler oil

If you're more comfortable with street pattern use that, and tell people to get fucked! I think John Reynolds uses ordinary gear shift pattern and doesnt slow him down, there are other top riders too.

    OK try either http://www.justfairings.co.nz/index.html
or this guy can probably help http://www.bernardracing.co.nz/index.html
Mate just got screwed over by Just Fairings. Sold him incompatible fairings for his bike, then agreed to take them back - when he had saved enough $ for a refund. Mate called him back a fortnight later as agreed, & the dude welched on the refund.

Yeah dude, i dont have any choice, i could switch it... only the rod thingy is a different one and is too short to be flipped as the front piece has angle to it... so in short, i need a 15mm longer rod with LH thread one side to do it back to normal.. the VFR one looks perfect but i need it, so meh, no issues i just have to get my head around it.. but im sure i would be faster back to normal as i dont have to be concentrating on it... also the bottom of my foot has less feel then the top so clutchless shifts are made not so silky smooth.

    You're fuckin' kidding?

I change between bikes all week, mine has an upside down pattern and I've only fucked it up once.

Me thinks you may have a learning problem Logan. Think like this.

When you're down behind the bubble, press down. When you're up out of the bubble, shift up. Piece of piss.

Other than braided lines, is there anything else i should look at???

    Cheers, Chris
Got an Ohlins shock (just had recondition & Titanium Yoshi system from the K1 that will both fit the K4 and got some mangled K4 fairings that some plonker crashed as well that are only a bucket of resin & a sheet of fibreglass away from being race ready.

    Talk on Saturday bro.

easy way to get your head into a reversed pattern logan is to switch it on your road bike too! i reversed mine to see what it was like and its taken a while to fully get used to it but its natural now. I'm clearly not as intellectually advanced as our trashy friend though because I've lost count of how many times I've accidentally downshifted since January- and I only use the one bike!
