There will be a Pre-BIKOI Rally at the Rimutaka Forest Park, in Wainuiomata. Anyone needing accomodation and wanting to meet up with everyone else feel free to turn up. I will be arranging for a barbecue/food setup so an indication of numbers will be much appreciated before hand so I know how much food to get etc.

    Directions from SH1 at Ngauranga

    http://maps.google.co.nz/maps?f=d&so...,0.038495&z=15

For all those ladys out there, there are hot showers and flushing toilets aswell.

You may want to check that link as I get the kahurangi forest in the south island when I follow it
    could be interested though

    cheers

    "KB beds on offer"

Can't guarantee the house is not haunted (well - kids are a form of haunting aren't they?)

Costa del MASH (aka Hawkeye's place) can take 2-5.
    Location Tawa.
1 bed (possibility of double). Plus couch, and floor space.
I can even supply air beds and sleeping bags if required.

I also have a spare road legal bike that could be used by a suitably qualified rider (Honda CB500S).

Space for one bike in the garage (possibly 2 if I feel generous by moving the CB out. Other bikes can be put around the back of the house out of sight or boxed in by the cages on the drive. (very quiet street) Tarps available for covers.

Beer, BBQ and next to main train line to Welly if you feel like heading to the Welly pubs for the night. Ideal location as both meeting points are within 20 mins ride or 15 mins to Parliament.

For those out of towners that may want to go try out our playground on the Takas while you here, I am always up for a ride and happy to play tour guide.

NB: Dog (Spanial) in the house but she is timid and a total softy so unless you have an allegy she will be no problem.

If anyone is interested in making it a longer week-end and spending some time in the Welly region, your quite welcome to come earlier ie Sat
I'm only wearing black until they develop something darker

Roll up, roll up! Just talked to Marian, there are still beds available. Lets try not to turn up unannounced on the day. A bit of warning would be good, I guess the hotel would also like to know how many meals they have to cook, cant expect to get a roast for $10 without letting them know you want it.

I am not ignoring PM's as much as not having time to deal with them all. I was never going to book your accommodation for you, my credit card does not run to 50% up front charges that I have to chase down for reimbursement.

Yeah, well I hope you guys support the people listed here, they really are in behind our cause.

    I obviously phrased that badly.
The thanks are genuine for the work you've done, and the ignore was meant as just that, no need to get back to me in response to my message.
I'll say no more just in case.....

Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask but....

I cannot find any details on where people are meeting, what time etc. We plan to get as far south as possible on Monday night, then carry on on Tuesday before coming home. Any details appreciated.

    Thanks.

It is not wonderfully clear, but if you open the attachment in a new window you can zoom in a bit, this has all the ride routes, departure times and meeting points on it.
