    full route

    Monday 16 November, 2009.
    0500 Depart Whangarei.
    Assemble at Kensington Park car park, next to the Northern Rescue helicopter.
    0900 Depart BP Papakura ( On SH1 )
    Assemble at the carpark at the front of the BP station.
    Straight back out onto SH1.
    1100 Depart Cambridge.
    Assemble at the Victoria Square parking. ( Same as the Hamilton Ulysses Cancer ride start point )
    Park along Alpha Street first.
    Left out of the Square, then right at the round about back on to SH1.
    1400 Depart Taupo.
    Assemble at the Roberts Street car park, by McDonalds and Burger King.
    Turn right our of Roberts, then left onto SH1
    1600 Depart Waiouru.
    Assemble on the side of the road at the Southern end of the township. Should be plenty of room
    Depart on SH1
    Tuesday 17 November, 2009
    0900 Depart Sanson
    Assemble in the parking area at the intersection of SH1 & SH3.
    Depart onto SH1.
    1000 Depart Levin.
    We will be joining the first major group to head into Wellington.
    1130 Depart Papakowhai Rd.
    We will assemble with all the others for the final push into Wellington, connecting with those coming from SH2.
    1200 Park up at the Cake Tin, and march to Parliament steps to meet the Minister at 1215.

    I'll be the Police Liaison Officer working directly with the Officer in Charge on the day of the protest when you all reach Wellington - if the lead riders or key members need to get hold of me text or call 027 273 1608 (answered 24/7).

    Cant make it either but saw heaps of bikes on my commute in, it was so painful to pull of at Pt Chev and not keep rolling south.

    Good on ya for getting the time off, safe ride down and back and

    Well, my later (10:30) commute to work this morning I saw a big fat ZERO bikes. There can't be many bikes left on Auck's.
