Can AMI's insurance quote be bettered ?

Many moons ago I worked in the automotive parts industry and numerous panelbeaters complained about State wanting repairs done on the cheap and pressuring them to use substandards pirate panels.
To be fair though, that was some time ago.

State declined a genine claim from me some years ago and I'm still dirty on that.

A mate recently had a unhappy time with them but I can't recall the details about that.

I've had about 3 claims through AMI over the years and found them excellent - fast settlement and no hassles.

I paid out $1500 a year on rental property for 20 years and never had a claim and a working girl high on P burnt a top storey out of one of the rentals - AMI replaced 24 weather-boards but were to tight to replace the last 6 at the bottom that they reckoned the fire had not damaged - result 24 new weather boards with new stain and 6 old ones with old stain - looks bloody fantastic for the sake of $3 a board LMFAO (wasn't laughing at the time - over it now)

Get what you pay for eh - still prefer low priced insurance that covers the basics

Chance good point about agreed value - will get that side of it sorted !
