    Bid here auction site

Yes, the one advertised at the top of this Kiwibiker. http://www.bidhere.com/?ref_id=4d7

There is some good stuff on there going at rediculously low prices, even taking into consideration the cost of the bids. Has anyone actually bought anything from this site, and if so, was it delivered OK?

I see someone with the username Kiwibiker is a heavy participant.

Has a bit of a dodgy whiff to it all - no real info on where the products come from, no committed auction price ("usually 60-95% off retail" is a bit vague), their "guarantee" is not much of one at all, and they have FAQs saying the product is unfortunately sometimes not available...

It would be a good little money spinner if they can make it work well enough though.

Yeah, I had a look at it and came away with a distinct rodent smell filling my nostrils.
You have to pre-pay for bidding points (so if the site folds they've already got your dosh) and the bloody auctions keep resetting all the time, so you'd either have to sit there all bloody day or take a stab at what you think it will be worth to you and throw an auto bid on.
And...there doesn't seem to be any way to delete your account.

Its the old story: "If it looks too good to be true, then it probably isn't true". There are some good things on there, but I'm not about to spend many hundreds of dollars (I did say a lot of good stuff) if I can't be sure that I would get the product at the end.

Agreed. I'd love to hear from someone that has actually had something from this site.... if there is anyone...

They make a killing on this. Fairly sure it has another name which if you google will come up with a website telling you how stupid this is for you and how awesome it is for them. Basically each bid you make costs you money and adds 0.02 cents to the auction. So something that sells for 50 dollars would have 2500 bids that earn the site $1 (made that up don't remember what it costs) for each bid so an easy 2500 dollars for them!

No - anything that flashes in my face can get fucked. I wouldn't care if they were giving GSXRs away I wouldn't go there - ever.
On a positive note, it did inspire me to kill all flash adverts.

OK, here's the test to see if its legit or not. I used the free bids they give you on sign up and won a PANASONIC Lumix DMC-TZ7-K Digital Camera valued at over $800 for $0.02. So I've now paid $0.02 via Paypal, so lets see if the camera arrives.

So there was only one bid on that "auction"?

Or do I misunderstand your post?

Did you use the free bids plus one more that you paid for?

What was the final price on it? How many bids?
