Is the ACC levy a good that is sold to you - must be I guess as it also has a GST component? Only reason I ask is I used to work in retail (managed a bottle store - happy times) and was told that we weren't obliged to sell the stuff - it was merely for sale on offer and we didn't actually have to accept an offer for purchase.

This won't work for this reason and the many reasons already listed.

ACC Levy is a tax ... not 'goods'.

If I have an accident I wouldn't mind paying the full $3700 levy as a excess (as long as if I was allowed to put it on auto payment...) but if it was caused by a cage then they can pay for that...

send an army of these hexapod cnc routers into strategic locations, and mill the bikeoi logo into doors/desks/walls etc. Nick Smith goes to work and theres logos everywhere in his office, re-applied every day till he gets the message!

    Your fridge has GST added?
GST on a tax (levy) is nothing new. I suppose we could have a discussion on the difference between a tax and a levy. Semantics I think.

Mmmm. Could say that our ACC levy's will cost so much that we won't be able to afford safety gear ... or clothes even!

Jesus on a pogo stick! I can't un-see that! I did that at a camp ground once and got thrown out. No blardy sense of humor. Well if we don't get enough attention I think we should do a nude parliament ride.

In Wellington..... you've really got to pick your days to go around naked! Not something you coud plan a couple of weeks ahead..... else it could become a very small protest, if you get my drift.

May be some form of "Flash-mob" protest, but what form could it take?
