Photos taken from the Sunset Road overbridge are now posted Here
Working thru all the pics I came up with a figure of 331 bikes.
I posted up pretty much everything I took, so there a few shots with the same bikes in them, but it looks pretty cool as a slide show.
If anyone wants the raw pics (ie full size, or cropped in shots), PM me with the pic number and I will see what I can do for you

Been my first group ride and I really enjoyed it, although towards the end my arse did feel more like a rock than a comfortable seating device
Who's got pictures or videos up on the net? Perhaps we could have a central repository on KB for them?
And if ACC are not willing to budge, in the words of someone at the domain today we should close down the bridge for a day![]()
[QUOTE=Sis;1129514387]The guy in front was turned round looking over his shoulder, and must have lifted off the gas. The following car was way too close anyway, locked up and slid straight into him, full frontal rearrangement, ouch!. (fast lane, heading south) It was just after you had all past, I was playing catchup, could see it all unfolding, and could do nothing about it. It did make me very conscious of how much following distance to hold on the cars ahead, and how scary it was with cars sitting right behind me, as the traffic flow started to surge the closer we got to town.

Easy, Peasea. Yep it was the first big group ride for many including me. (Actually I've ridden in much bigger rides on treadlies but the same principles apply as far as I can tell - hold your line, be smooth & don't fkn panic). Main thing: we were there and we'll be back.
Cheers - Chasio
