Thats supposed to be progress?? some of those looked like a determined step backwards! I rate the fischer and that red honda with the telelever looking front end as starters though. Fischer are apparently using the 998cc Aprilia V-Twin engines (or was it someone else?) and doing the rest for themselves and should have a bike out in the next year or two.

that blackbird concept looks like an early drawing of the existing machine to me

To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds

That fischer looks fucken mean, pretty much the rest of them will be causing me to look for alternative means of fun and transport in the future. Or just keep rebuilding the RGV every year for the next 80 years

    Peeeew!

What is it with concept designers that gives them an almost instinctive urge to excrete the media's ideal of the future of vehicles (cars or bikes). Twenty years ago till today, they feel the need to draw moulded plastic shapes with no apparent aesthetic value whatsoever. People don't buy exotic vehicles for practicality, they buy them because they look good, perform well and to some extent are a status symbol.

The BMW, Buell and CO-29 are laughable. I would rather ride a sweaty gorilla to work than sit on one of those plastic not-so-fantastics.
The Fisher does look pretty good, but I can see a hint of that moulded plastic circular design coming through on the back wheel and swingarm.

Just like the flying cars conceptualised 10 or 20 years ago never came to fruition, I suspect these atrocious "creations" will never feel the bitumen under their tyres!

Yes. looking at using a supercharged Hyosung vee twin 650 engine. Some of these concept bikes are quite old, wonder what ever happened to them? Like the Suzuki Nuda, the Yamaha Morpho etc

The Fisher was interesting and would be even more so I guess if you were actually American.

Honda have indicated that it's planned to be bringing out a V5 to replace the Blackbird next year so that red beast is of some interest. Although I hope it's not too accurate an indication of what's to come...
