So why are scooters relegated to "Offtopic"?

Laugh and poke fun all you like, but I am seriously requesting the Scooter forum be moved to Motorcycle subtypes. Even minibikes and pocketbikes are in this area.
Scooters are not off topic and belong n here with all us two wheels and a motor types.

After all we want them to join our Bikeoi and they get levy increases too, so come play nice and put them in their rightful place.

    Yeah, bring on the scoots!

In our garage we currently have an SV1000S, A GSXR750, a TU250 and a Piaggio Hexagon. All the bikes live in harmony in the garage. I hope they can live together in KB too.

You have my vote too - no discrimination.Scooters have as much variety as ''real'' motorcycles - some are full framed, some have sophisticated suspension, tricky drive trains.I like them.

Very funny. No lacquer on my bike. And I can't tell you where the nearest coffee shop is, let alone list the preferred ride destinations.

Quite frankly, I dont think that you're 'hard' enough to be classed as a motorcyclist!

Careful, you'll feed the inferiority complex even more.

Gee he isn't really helping is he? (shut up Blair! )

My original thread in Site Stuff was a straight forward request to move the Scooter forum from Off Topic to Motorcycle Subtypes. I fully expect it will be considered by a mod and most likely actioned at some point. This thread wasn't started by me and has gotten a bit silly.

I dont ride a scooter, but dont see why you should not have a place in here.

I think you're probably right Dave. (about who the dirty ones are...)

Which national rallies did you go to? Got any photos?

Cmon Jess, there's a silly side to this website , so if we get moved or not, its not the end of the world. Seems we are considered not very serious bikers to be in off topic, just playing on that stereotype and having a laugh at that opinion.

I am the big boys! I have a 250cc motorbike, which automatically makes me bigger than a 600cc scooter.

Oops i think I may have had a logic malfunction
