    Hub marks. Help!

    Hey, need some advice here, found strange looking marks on my rear hub.

    Probably just casting marks that have picked up a bit of dirt. Definitely have it checked but no need to assume the worst.

    Yeah not gonna lie, looks like stress marks - watch out they may develop into cracks and then you may be questionning what happend to your rear wheel.


    I'm thinking it ain't gonna last too much longer.

    Yes, they may well be fatigue cracks. But they could just be crud accumulating at about the same distance from the centre. Do the marks rub off?
