with the new bike and training fresh under your belt you'll be smoking everyone
I think speedy got a fright when his yz250 didnt drag me off up the hills....
But not as much of a fright as I got when I got the new bike angry ....

The ride was quite a bit more challenging for me than it was last year but not so much that it was hard.
    Really good ride.
Noobi's bike developed an effection towards wanting to be ridden like a mx bike ....for some reason lost its bottom end so had to be ridden like full noise everywhere....

Another good ride this coming weekend down the road by the red fox ...

not just bottom end, all throttle response between just off idle and just before the limiter. it made slippery rooted out hills more than interesting trying to keep up with JT, CR, K6K, and Xen.

    i like to think of it as a taste of a 1960s 125 mx'er
we may just go where no ones been

nah, it was worse than that. any thing slightly above idle and it would bog and burble all the way up the rev range until it came on the main jet then it was all over the show.

the culprit being a blocked pilot jet, easy to fix. could have done it while the carb was still on the bike if i knew what i was doing.

Think I saw you in the carpark Noobi but wasn't sure as I thought you had blue riding gear? Mine was refusing to idle and blubbery off bottom, initially thought maybe due to altitude but I reckon blocked jet for me too. Couldn't be arsed sorting it, but was great fun getting the 2 strokes singing. Don't normally get off on the open stuff but enjoyed stretching the 200s legs.

i do have blue gear, and a crazy fox helmet. but there were a few gassers that looked the same as mine. including a whie sixdays one with full ohlins package..... drool

i did enjoy thrashing the bike up some of the hills, holding on for dear life.

anyway the carbs sorted now, all ready for mangatangi next weekend.

Cool ride that, nice and long loop that had quite a bit of varied terrian. That real long uphill was sweet, had a proper go of JT's crf makes me rethink my stance on 4T's at least in the open stuff hahaha
