Im not offended about being either, but the only thing in common between a Vespa and a Sj50QT is that they are both labeled scooter.

A 'real' bike in my mind is not a 250cc japanese cruiser. Maybe when i get my full ill look at a sports bike, but see no point in spending 7000 on a bike im gonna use for 18mths and then sell. Where as with a scooter you dont constantly upgrade to bigger cc.

BTW, i'll prob also buy a suzuki gn125/250 to get used to both. Only just got my bike license today.

that doesn't make sense, your saying we have to upgrade to higher cc, whereas you scooter boys don't, it's not that we have to it's that we like going faster and faster until we can't go no faster unlike scooters which max out at what 70? with a tail wind and steep downhill, got mine up to 90 going down stuart st early one sunday mourning sounded so damn funny reeeeeeenenennenen can't wait to get a gixxer though!!! just theres nothing around at the moment in my area

oh and the sr250 only cost me $900 and it's been reliable as anything, haven't had a single problem with it (except the idle thing but that was an easy fix) i do miss the cheap rego fees of what $70? on scooters for a whole year, now it's $250

150cc goes 100kms, up to like 115 with mods.

With scooters there arent multiple different cc ratings. Ive notcied people are always upgrading their motorbike to a higher cc, not the case with scooters.

Congratulations on the shiny new license(or the bit of paper currently inhabiting your wallet)

I though it was because they are too gay to ride a real bike. (PT)

Don't always go up in cc. My next bike will probably be a step down in cc. Just a step up in horsepower

Way to completely not get the entire point of the post... Seriously, what the crap? It's like laughing at a guy with one leg, deep down, you're the retard.

    Whatever though, I'm tired.
