250cc dual-purpose bike for license!

Hey guys

Just wondering if anyone here on the HBC had a dual purpose (XR250, DR250 or similar) road registered and warranted dual purpose bike I could use (would pay) for half a day just to get my restricted bike license in Orewa?

Ive had a learners for years but never owned a bike long enough (or a road bike for that matter actually) to get the license done...

Any help would be awesome!

Can't help, but I "think" that some of the bike shops in Takapuna have 250cc renters for that purpose, might be worth a call.
