    Loss to ACC?

Just a little bit of perhaps useful Imfo. 1000 motorcycles licenced for one month only, yes you can do this in fact you can licence week by week if you wish. (Form MR27). Approx revenue $30,000. 1000 motorcycles licenced for three months, revenue of $86,000. Loss of revenue per month $56,000. Add up A.C.C. levy as it stands. Now that would give them something to worry about.See you all on the 17th.

    I must be missing sumtin?

You can licence the bike for a month at the time. But it ends up a little more costly over 3 months than if you pay for 3 months straight away.

Or perhaps you suggesting not to pay for the other two months at all? But as you rock up to pay for the fourth month only, you end up backpaying from the second month.

May the bridges I burn light the way.

No, you havnt missed something. However I live on the bones of me leggings, so being able to licence for a shorter time is a blessing. Yes you pay a couple dollars more but means I am on the road for a time when I could be sitting at home bloody grumpy!.

Yes. There's a $6.50 administration fee each time you relicense.
