Question What road the condition of SH35 around East Cape ?

Anyone travelled sh35 around the east cape the last few weeks.

Interested in road condition and roadworks and/or diversions.

I'm aware of the gas station issue.

    Thanks in advance.

If you want to go, just go. The road will be fine. There will be a few bits being tidied here and there, but there always is.

It's an epic trip. Don't think about it, just go.

What's the gas station issue? Did a thread search and couldn't find anything in particular. Going to be around that way in a couple of weeks.
