Apple cores?? As a kid, I noticed my mum eating the core (she doesn't anymore), so for fun I tried.

Now I just throw any stalks away, eating apple cores also saves on trying to dump the core. It has come in handy when on buses etc. Plus you get every bit of apple as well... Its just habit now, although there is the rare apple that has a bad tasting core, so I throw that away...

So your mum has realised that eating the core of an apple is nasty, but you're still on the road to enlightenment?

Do you eat your banana skins too? What about orange peels?
We're all fucked. I'm fucked. You're fucked. The whole department is fucked. It's the biggest cock-up ever. We're all completely fucked.

No, just apple cores. I often eat a couple of apples a day, you'd be amazed at the number of looks I get. Then again, you probably wouldn't be.

Hang on, thinking about it, I always eat grape pips (can't be stuffed getting them out), usually end up swallowing prune pips, nectarine pips ands cherry pips by accident (don't care), had the odd apricot pips umm... anymore??

I am normal aren't I?? Please tell me I am...

Bet he never did it again, didn't harm anyone and made our country a better place.

If we all stopped one person from littering for the rest of the forseeable future our country would be litter free
Use to do that when I was driving busses. Most Asians are pretty good about litter and will walk some distance to deposit there rubbish. But I remember on one occasion I picked up a group of asian students and there was one guy who stood out from the rest. Lots of gold chain, smooth looking, well dressed etc. While he waited for the students to get on I noticed that he pulled out a piece of gum and threw the wrapper on the ground. Told him that if he wanted to litter his own country too go back home but not to do it to mine. Meek as a lamb he got off the bus, picked up the wrapper and put it in the bin. Use to do exactly the same with our youth. If they did not go and get it, and put it in the bin, I did not leave the stop untill they did. Occasionly I would get one smart fucker who would take me on and not move.

"Don't you understand what I said?" No response. Ask again still no response.

Then I would resort to another tactic. "Are you under the influence of drugs or alchohol?" That would get a big loud no and and the evil eye.

Sorry arsehole, "I don't believe you. I asked a simple question and you did not 'understand" what I said. Sling ya hook sunshine or I get the Police." That usually moved them.

All this because some low-life beleived they could litter with impunity.

There were times when I had fun.

Many of these pips,(including apples ) are a rich source of cyanide.Fortunately if you don't chew them they don't get digested.

Never knew that. Maybe I'll try to cut back on my diet of pips. I never eat them intentionally, just that you're trying to get all the flesh off the pip, swallow flesh to spit pip out, then oops, you've swallow the pip.

Still eat apple cores though. Just to used to it. Only annoying part of it is when the hard greeney bits get really stuck between your teeth, but you learn how to eat it properly...

Animals (inc. Humans) swallowing and excreting seeds is an important part of the life cycle of seed bearing plants.

People who litter do not bother me. I would have left the beemer driver alone personally.

If i was at an intersection with the beemer and the cigarette went through my visor I would be pissed off though!!

    I like this bit:

Apricot pits and bitter almond, a completely separate food from commonly consumed sweet almonds, may cause significant illness or even death if chewed and swallowed, but these are not foods most people would find appetizing.
Never thought that being careless/lazy could lead to so many problems.

I have swallowed apricot pits accidentally, but nothing happened. Maybe I should be more careful...

    nah, I'm 21 and bulletproof.
