Oh, god, not some more, Im tougher than you people, take it away from the site guys
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods

If your making a general statement about smokers not caring then thats not fair I smoke, I always try keep it away from other people smokers or non smokers - and I get pretty fucked off when I see, littering, spitting etc.

Also on the cancer stick note, when you think of the proportion of smokers in the world/nz and compare it to the direct deaths resulting from 'cancer sticks' you will be surprised, but take it with a grain of salt.

Anther note on that is my dad smoked all his life from 9 upto 86 odd, but then suffered prostate cancer, its funny that he actually got sick after he stopped smoking.. oh well live and let live.

Thats the attitude we need to have!!, too many people think "everyone does it already, I cant change the world"
If we influence the people around us they may pass the message on, and then on........people react to seeing someone else standing up for something they believe in better than seeing it mentioned on tv.........

Oh and yeah its $150 fine for dropping a ciggy butt from a moving vehicle! nasty little things contain hundreds of toxins and they are not biodegradable so are piling up and F**king our planet!!!

and if one smoker says they can't do shit themselves because theres so many other smokers think about the quantity of these "poison pellets" each one of them pays to create every week...year......

when someone DECIDES to smoke they are dis-respecting the planet, the people around them and most of all themselves! sure one may not get a terminal illness directly related to smoking but the symptoms of smoking tobacco are evident after smoking for a matter of weeks!!
The world stands aside to let anyone pass who knows where he is going....

Can't fight physics, but that is brilliant. Hope you were not joking. Don't let the PC brigade dictate., eh?
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Better than a fine, is catching the butt and throwing it back in the window. Did that to a woman on the Hutt motorway and then found out the next day it was a colleague's wife.

The colleague thought it was hilarious too, and explained to his wife that I was wearing a $700 textile jacket that was flammable. She has since given up smoking and a big chunk of that reason was the "active response" from a non-smoker to her thoughtless littering. Like most of them she hadn't given a moment's thought to the repercussions of her actions.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

Since I believe Stoney is off at the Rally I will answer on his behalf as to why he assumed you were aggressive. Let me quote your origional post and examine it shall we...

I believe Mr Crazy, the fact that you used a profanity i.e "fcking" and also included four exclamation marks would indicate that a raised voice or some aggression was used in communicating your displeasure at the thoughtless act of the BMW driver & his/her passenger. Good on ya for telling them though.

Btw ktulu - it's not only young "asian" chaps that litter our beautiful country, I have seen many NZers littering their own country. I do agreee though, that if we did appraoch people it could make a difference.

I even get peeved about people throwing things like apple cores & orange peels on the ground or in public gardens, their justification is: "It's biodegradable." My argument is that if we all did it, public gardens etc would look like a tip.
My goal in life is to be as good a person as my dog already thinks I am.

I often through rubbish on the ground when I'm at work. But since I'm a labourer for a residential housing company, I have to pick it all up when I do a site clean up...

Exactly. Think about the toxins and pollutants that come out of your exhausts. Not exactly planet friendly now is it??
I'm sick of hearing shit about smokers, I do my best to keep my smoke away from others. You may not like it, and yes some people are disrespective, but you have to accept that it will always be there.

I'm not keen on throwing food waste on the ground, but surely a bit of biomass is going to do more good than harm for a garden?
We're all fucked. I'm fucked. You're fucked. The whole department is fucked. It's the biggest cock-up ever. We're all completely fucked.
