Think most people set PB lap times. Think it was due to a car endurance race the week before, no rain since and some decent sun out for a change.

If only I had the $'s I'd be getting a Brendoom high HP engine built and giving those pooftas the learn ahead of me! Still I'm happy with those sort of results with what I've got.
Hey! thats great results on a std bike!

...and its a great learning tool for someone like me,and your gear changes are pretty consistant!

You guys are awesome, you really are!!The photos/vids of you bucket guys look so good!

Hey Gav, where do you get the J.Lo rear ends for the fxr? Did you make it yourself? I might have to get one, but I will need a wide one to cover my arse.

Cheers, is he local to chch? What sort of price do they sell for?

Also I've finally scored myself a FXR to do some bucket racing on, however there is a problem with the engine, not sure what yet, its arriving today.

    Awesome, cheers for that.
I've got that FXR at home now, stripped all the fairings off of it but will remount the front fairing in a slightly different position. Tried to turn over the engine but its real tight, put it into gear and rocked the bike backwards and forwards and the engine hardly moves. Any clues?
Also needs some new tires, new fork seals and a new chain.
Nice little project, any help/input ideas would be gratefully received.
    Cheers

Yea possibly, I have a feeling it might of been starved of oil for some reason and has partially seized. I will try and track down a secondhand engine but I've heard they are like hens teeth to get. Have put some crc into the barrel and will see if I can free it up and go from there. Thinking I will still need to strip the engine down.

A secondhand engine (if you can find one) will quite possibly cost as much or more than rebuilding the one you have (depending on whats wrong)

Bren_chch has all the parts for them

Alright cool, thanks for that. I will contact him then and see what he's got and work out what I'll need. Definitely looking like a strip down. Any bike mechanics needing some panelbeating done?

Managed to get the FXR fired up today after a bit coaxing with the jumper leads. However the engine will run for a bit then suddenly stop and I mean stops dead. Then it can't even be kick started or off the starter motor. Something is locking it up but have no idea what. No obvious knocking sounds when running but there is a strange noise. Have touched base with Brendon.
Hopefully nothing toooooooo major, fingers crossed.
    I love my Bucket.
