Ah yeah cheers for that, nah I think he was talking about not being able to check/adjust the valve clearances.

Cos that was one of the things they were gonna do,but as soon as he saw the red cam cover,he goes nah can't adjust the valve clearances.

but yeah no biggie, apparently it's okay for it to be a bit rattly, especially on the VVT model....*fingers crossed the bike stays healthy*

One gripe, sometimes when I have it in neutral,i put it in first, down, but it seems like it goes into second? Weird!

..and sometimes when changing from 1st to 2nd it will go into neutral, could potentially be dangerous...is it a fault,or am I doing it wrong? It doesn't always do it.

Remember, Neutral is in between 1st and 2nd.. When Changing up, Make sure you change the WHOLE way up. Yes.. I have done it myself and then i think SHTI! Change ALL the way, Not half..

It will come to ya man.

Should make sure you change up harder through each gear as you find False Neutral if you dont shift hard enough.. Found those as well.. Had to button off the gas and let it select gear then off i went..

I now know it is my boots i wear that i have these troubles with. My tramping boots, I have noo trouble changing gear. Mainly in the Bike Boots i have trouble with..

*on the look out for some new boots*

Yeah that is true, sometimes when i don't do it properly it won't change gear, but with time I'm sure I will get used to it.

How long you owned your bandit? Is yours the VZ too?

I just wear normal shoes for now, will have to wait until I can afford some proper gear.

Looks like the dash from a GSXR250... or possibly another older Suzuki.. but it looks exactly the same as the dash on this:
