would the news crews be willing to give their footage for the dvd mentioned earlier? could make a whole bunch and sell them and raise money to repair the parking lot if needed that way. i would love to own a dvd of the day, from the meet at sanson to BULLSHIT BULLSHIT BULLSHIT to leaving the stadium.

Agreed but ALL TV stations are apparently unable by some copywrite bullshit (bulls shit bull shit bull shit) that they cannot release anythiung they have not publicly broadcast

Hmm I was talking to a news editor friend of mine last night to find out if we could get some of that footage. I got the impression that it was possible... but I'm not sure how easy it would be to get bits that weren't broadcast. (He said the problem was that there was just SO MUCH...)

Anyway, he said the best course of action would be to put a request to TVNZ (who hold anything 'recent' i.e. last 3 years!). And he said if they ask for money for it not to bother, and he may be able to help out. SO... I don't know if you/anyone else has put a formal request in StoneY?
