Ive had My PODMX for Over 2 years now, Make sure you get the right size as their is about 4 or 5 different sizes just for the width of your knee.

BUT i have broken the knee cap guard 4 times and had them replaced. The top of the boot hooks up under the guard and pops it off. I need a new knee guard cap at the moment.

I love my Thor Force Guards. Great for the 3-hour X-Countries.

I've run Evs web knee braces after my first ride when my mate stuffed his ACL Ligament. Maybe I'm a scaredy cat?

Just look at it this way: How much does 4 months off work cost you? Maybe 6-9 months off your bike... Minimum.
Maybe spend about quarter of that on some braces.

CTI ones look good but real expensive!

Just make sure you get those sexy thigh-length socks and roll them down over the top of the braces. Comfy and all but stops the chaffing.

You get used to whatever you get everyone says anyway.
I'd like to say it makes me braver...er?

The price is definitely way nicer than the pod's , how bulky are they compared with the pod's ?.

I looked at knee braces but i was told if i dont have a problem with my knee dont bother as it just shifts the hard landings else where (Hips are next inline for the punnishment!) I just use Knee gaurds to stop smacking them against rocks and also after a race day i found i was gripping the frame so hard i bruise the inside of my knees.
