Lookin for Wellington tree riders

hi, im lookin to find some like minded riders to do the occasional ride with, i dont ride often due to commitments, but it sux ridin alone.
I am about mid pack A grade level on a good day. enjoy karapoti etc..
I ride a CRF 450. am pretty laid back.

Yea man do agree with riding on your own, plus a long walk back on your own with a smashed up bike, best to have someone to take turns haha ....

I normally drive from the Hutt over to the Mungatuk's side for a play around aye, sadly at the moment my fork seals need to be done and front wheel bearing but once thats all sorted your welcome to come out, normally ride with who ever hasn't totalled there bike so it can just be myself out there sometimes...

Was going every weekend but now its looking like it could be every second weekend until after christmas.

Where abouts you located ?

Ill be back from Oz early next year and keen for a ride anytime .. just live 5 minutes away from the Maungatouk' side of Karipoti ... used to go out there every weekend. Ride it till the red is usually up to something everyweekend. Kezzafish has no bike at the moment but we used to ride heaps around that way too.

Cheers guys, im in same boat at the mo, trashed both hd tubes at moonshine ride, those nasty rocks i bet, but sooon ya. was gutted to read kezzafish ddnt make it to that ride, was hopin for pics, never mind

oh yeh, i live up blue mountains rd, so i also duck into the fire breaks a bit too, gotta mix up my ridin spots a bit though, as that moonshine ride taught me, ridin the sametrack all the time means ya dont look ahead the same, got caught out by that double rutter hill, would of been fine if i had my eyes open,ha

Hey mate I go for rides around Karapoti every now and then with another couple of guys, was also at the Moonshine trial ride. Probably get out once or twice a month, do the odd race every now and then (looking at doing the Bushriers 2 hour cross country on the 29th) but we are pretty casual nowadays - unfit and rusty!

sweet as, will do. i wanna do the 2 hr too, must get bike and rider up to spec though. enjoyed the moonshine ride, had rubbish tyres on and suffered in the A sections

I saw the results from the 4-hour are up as well. If i didnt get lost on the first lap, and wanted to do another lap could have been a better result, but that wind was insane.
