You do need to twist the handle grip on the RH side of the handle bar

Oh here I go..., defending them, as was predicted.

    probably not

every time I attack something bumpy with a bit of pace I seem to smash something underneath - foot pegs, bash plate, centre stand, crash bars...

At least I'm progressing higher up the bike - sheared the rear rack mounting bolts after hitting a few bumps and got hit in the back by my top box and rack....

the intiminators have improved the fork action dramatically and hopefully the ricor rear shock will fix the back.

Don't get me wrong - I love the bike - but it is primarily a fun all road tourer that can pootle through most mild trails.

Thanks for the PM's guys - I finally understood what had been posted earlier about ordering off the Vibranator site with coupon code 'feedback'... So 2 sets now on their way to me for US$80. Sensational

Yeah, some of the bolts do appear to be made out of butter and a must replace chore. And the number plates are so thin now. I was lucky to find it on the way back one day..., complete with rego still attached.
Off with that silly tongue or second back mud guard and plate now directly on the real mud guard. But then noticed that the tail light will need replacing because no white light shining down on the plate. So it begins...

LED number plate light........ I picked one up from C.M. Spares and a spare from Repco, easy to wire in and they don't draw ef all current, there's a pic of the tidy'd tail in the DR750 thread

    That's a big thread...
But what a good idea. I didn't realise they came built into the actual bolts.
    Cheap too
    Thanks!

When did Mark buy a DR?

    He brought it up.

Perhaps it's the KLR riders who are gay.

    Nah.
If they were gay they'd have bought more stylish bikes.

I had my dose of culture on Friday night. Went to some theatre thing for a work do. Luckily it was some Monty Python rip off, so it almost kept me awake. There was only a few minutes of men dancing around in tights.
